CHURCH LEADERSHIP
High Point would not be able to function the way that it does without the incredible people who generously give their time, energy, and God-given talent to serve our church community. We are deeply grateful for everyone who helps make ministry possible! The individuals listed here hold specific leadership roles in our church’s ministry areas. Many others serve faithfully in vital ways that are not represented on this page. Their contributions matter greatly, and we are thankful for each one of them.

DUANE BEACH
LEAD PASTOR
- Duane is the teaching pastor at High Point Baptist Church.
- He grew up in Germany ministering to the U.S. Military. In 2004, he came back to Germany with his family, and in 2005, he assumed leadership of High Point.
- He enjoys reading, studying, and preaching—like most pastors.
- He also enjoys relating to people, playing soccer, and tinkering with technology.
DAYLIN BEACH
CHILDREN & LADIES MINISTRY DIRECTOR; MUSIC MINISTRY CO-DIRECTOR
- Growing up, Daylin never thought she would be a pastor’s wife. Now, God has gifted her with not only being the wife of a pastor but also with the opportunity to shepherd and minister to the ladies and children in the church.
- She also plays the piano and helps keep everything organized at High Point.
RICK B.
MUSIC MINISTRY CO-DIRECTOR
- Rick and his wife have been members of High Point since 2019.
- He is incredibly passionate about music both in and out of church.
JOHN & JESSICA C.
IGNITE YOUTH GROUP LEADERS
- John and Jessica are both educators within the community.
- Originally from the Metro Detroit area, they have lived overseas for over twenty years. They celebrated their silver anniversary in 2024 and have three kids and one very big dog.
- Together they “have no greater joy than to hear that their children are walking in the truth”—including their Igniters!
- John is a fantastic ice skater and Jessica loves reading 19th century British novels.
JUDSON H.
DEACON
- Judson, a.k.a. Hock, has been working on Strykers for General Dynamics for over sixteen years.
- He met and married his wife in the decade known for producing the best music in history. Cielle, four cats, and two dogs joined Judson here in Germany in October 2021.
- God first called him to share Jesus with young soldiers in Iraq, and today, this is still the reason he loves going to work.
- These days, the closest thing he has to a hobby is feeding snacks to his dogs and going for walks with them and his wife in the Bavarian forests.
BEN I.
DEACON
- Ben and his wife have been members of High Point since 2024.
- He is dedicated to serving our community through the church and through his job.
RENITA K.
NURSERY DIRECTOR
- Renita has been a member of High Point since 2023.
- She is passionate about creating a safe and loving environment in the nursery so that parents can drop off their children with confidence during the Sunday service.
TAMARA L.
SECRETARY
- Tamara has a B.A. in English and Communications and a M.A. in English and American Studies with a concentration in U.S. Literature and Culture.
- She was born in Amberg, Germany as a dual German-American citizen and spent half of her childhood here. She lived in four different U.S. states for the other half before moving back to Germany in 2019. She now lives in Sulzbach-Rosenberg with her husband and their cat.
- In addition to helping the church with administrative projects, God has called her to minister to people through seasons of suffering.
- She enjoys writing, reading, playing board games, and going on walks.
KIANA S.
HOSPITALITY DIRECTOR
- Kiana has a Bachelor's in Sociology and Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. She currently works as an Educational Aide.
- She was raised in upstate New York and moved to Germany in March of 2023 with her husband and three children.
- She is passionate about sharing the Gospel with women and children by serving where needed and loving on them as best as she can. She loves planning events for different occasions that are focused on God in a variety of ways as well as building relationships in the church.
- She enjoys hiking, cooking/baking, and spending quality time with her family.
EDWIN V.
DEACON
- Edwin is an Electrical Engineer who’s worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers for the last fifteen years. He currently works in Grafenwöhr and oversees offices in Wiesbaden and Stuttgart.
- He was born in Puerto Rico but was raised in Miami where he met his lovely wife, Katie. They have lived in Germany since 2022 with their two boys.
- He is passionate about teaching and sharing the truth in love.
- He enjoys art, playing video games, and reading. His favorite author is CS Lewis.
CHRIS W.
DEACON
- Chris has been in the Army for twenty years and currently works in Vilseck as an instructor.
- He has been married for twenty years to Cassi, his high school sweetheart. They have two kids and have lived in Germany for three and a half years.
- He enjoys working behind the scenes to help things run smoothly at church. He also has a passion for discipling people through in-home small groups.
- His favorite way to spend free time is at the gym lifting heavy things.
JOHN & ELVA BEACH
PASTOR EMERITUS
John and Elva Beach have been in Germany working with the U.S. Military since 1976! They first started in Ulm, and then they came to the Vilseck area in 1993. They bring years of experience and a wealth of wisdom to the leadership of the church.
